Ordained as a Rabbi by the Latin American Rabbinical Seminary in 2006, Silvina currently serves as a Senior Rabbi at Beth El Congregation and holds the position of provost at the Isaac Abarbanel University Institute (IUIA).
She is also the Director of the Center for Dialogue and Social Action at the Marshall T. Meyer Latin American Rabbinical Seminary and holds a degree in Hebrew Language and Hebrew Bible from the Michlelet Shazar Institute and Social Communication from the University of Buenos Aires.
A co-founder of the Ana Frank Argentina Center for Latin America, Silvina has authored several books on education, human rights, and interreligious coexistence. An ardent activist for human rights and social justice, she has been honored as a Distinguished Personality by the city of Buenos Aires for her dedicated efforts towards equal opportunities, and social and religious coexistence, while actively combating discrimination.
Additionally, Silvina is a member of the Abrahamic Faiths Initiatives and holds positions on the Board for the G20 Forum of Religions (R20), the Advisory Council of the Center for Shared Civilizational Values, and the Advisory Board of the Milstein Center for Interreligious Dialogue at the Jewish Theological Seminar (JTS).
Silvina lives with her family in Buenos Aires, Argentina.
