TL;DR: The Global Jewry Prizes honor outstanding collaborative initiatives among Jewish organizations worldwide, recognizing creativity, intentional partnership, and measurable impact. The selection committee looks for clear goals, thoughtful planning, and efforts that strengthen the broader Jewish community. With a rigorous but fair review process, the GJ Prizes aim to showcase and inspire meaningful cooperation across borders and sectors. Applications are open until November 30th, and all Jewish organizations are encouraged to apply to help elevate a culture of shared purpose and collective impact.

In today’s interconnected world, the challenges facing Jewish organizations are increasingly complex, yet so are the opportunities for collaboration, innovation, and impact. The Global Jewry Prizes were created to recognize, incentivize, and reward exemplary collaboration among Jewish organizations worldwide—initiatives that strengthen our collective voice, expand our reach, and deepen our connections across communities. As a co-chair of the selection committee, I can attest to the transformative potential of this initiative and why every organization should consider applying for the Prizes.

The Prizes celebrate creativity, cooperation, and measurable outcomes. They are not simply about scale; they are about meaningful engagement. Whether your organization is amplifying the work of others through social media, co-hosting educational programs, or partnering on international initiatives, these collaborations matter. By applying, organizations lead by example and showcase their commitment to mutual respect, trust, and shared purpose—values that are foundational to a strong global Jewish community.

Applications are evaluated with careful attention to both vision and execution. The committee looks for evidence of intentional collaboration: clear objectives, thoughtful planning, and measurable results. Equally important is impact—how the initiative benefits not just the organizations involved but the broader Jewish world. We also seek creativity, the ability to bridge divides, and the potential for initiatives to serve as models for others. Simply put, the Prizes are awarded to those who demonstrate that collaboration, when done intentionally and inclusively, creates exponential value.

The selection process is rigorous yet fair. Each submission is reviewed by members of the committee who bring diverse global perspectives and deep experience in Jewish organizational leadership. Applications are assessed on clarity, innovation, and effectiveness, with an emphasis on measurable outcomes and lasting impact. Importantly, the process is designed to highlight excellence in collaboration—because in a global community, the ability to work together across borders, cultures, and disciplines is essential.

Applications close on November 30th. I strongly encourage every Jewish organization to apply. The Global Jewry Prizes are more than financial awards; they are a platform to inspire, recognize, and amplify the power of collaboration. By participating, organizations not only gain recognition for their achievements but also contribute to a culture of cooperation that strengthens the Jewish world as a whole. In short, these Prizes celebrate what we can achieve together—because the future of Jewish communities worldwide depends on the bridges we build today.
