Each year, thousands of people gather for the Krakow Jewish Festival. Amongst an era of growing Anti-Semitism, the Krakow Jewish Festival allows the community to reflect on the past, as they look to revive Krakow, a city that was once a Jewish stronghold within Europe.
Hosted in the Jewish quarter of Kazimierz, the festival serves as a place to explore Jewish culture, and reclaim Jewish roots. The Krakow Jewish Festival creates a safe public space for Jewish life, and functions as an event of exploration, featuring concerts, workshops, lectures, and tours.
