TL;DR: Global Jewry is built on the belief that a brighter Jewish future depends on more and stronger connections. To advance that vision — and starting with WUJS — we are introducing a “Network Partner” designation for partners that self-identify as playing a unique connective role across the Jewish communal ecosystem—bringing organizations together, facilitating collaboration, sharing knowledge, and strengthening coordination across diverse sectors of Jewish life. This designation recognizes a distinctive role within the ecosystem and complements the valuable contributions of all Global Jewry partners. By elevating and engaging our Network Partners, we seek to strengthen cooperation, encourage innovation, and create greater collective impact throughout the global Jewish community.
Over the past three years, Global Jewry has worked to strengthen trust, connection, and cooperation across the Jewish organizational ecosystem. Through engagement with hundreds of organizations around the world, one insight has become increasingly clear: institutions whose primary role is connecting and convening other groups play a unique and essential role in the health of the broader Jewish community.
While many organizations participate in programs, initiatives, and partnerships, a select few serve as conveners, networks, federations, professional associations, membership bodies, and collaborative platforms that help entire sectors work more effectively together. These institutions do more than contribute to the ecosystem—they help shape it.
We believe this distinction is worth highlighting and – starting today with the World Union of Jewish Students (WUJS) – will offer interested members of Global Jewry to become one of our “Network Partners.” As the democratically elected global representative body of Jewish students, WUJS connects and supports Jewish student unions across dozens of countries, empowering young leaders and strengthening Jewish life worldwide.
The designation of Network Partners reflects an important evolution within one dimension of Global Jewry’s growing platform. It acknowledges the distinct role and value these organizations bring as ecosystem connectors, helping to foster collaboration, share knowledge, and amplify collective impact. By creating this designation, we can engage these institutions in a way that more accurately reflects their mission, contributions, and influence within the broader Jewish community.
Network Partners are ecosystem multipliers. They help ensure that successful ideas, relationships, and coordinated efforts do not remain isolated, but instead spread, scale, and strengthen the broader field. They connect organizations within their own networks, surface opportunities for cooperation across institutional boundaries, share knowledge and best practices, and help strengthen communication throughout the Jewish organizational landscape. They also serve as bridges between Global Jewry and wider institutional ecosystems, helping identify patterns, needs, and opportunities that transcend any single organization.
Designation as a Network Partner will be based on a member organization’s demonstrated capacity to influence, connect, and strengthen the broader Jewish communal landscape. Network Partners will be expected to help surface opportunities that benefit the wider ecosystem, encourage meaningful relationships across networks, and contribute to a culture in which organizations work together rather than in parallel. The goal is to make coordination a structural feature of Jewish organizational life rather than an occasional byproduct of individual relationships.
Importantly, there will be no fee or funding requirement associated with becoming a Network Partner. Participation is rooted solely in a shared commitment to strengthening the Jewish ecosystem through greater connection, cooperation, and coordination.
In return, Network Partners will receive recognition as system-level connectors within the Global Jewry network, increased visibility across Global Jewry initiatives, direct engagement with other ecosystem-level organizations, opportunities to amplify their own work through broader networks, and a voice in shaping how coordination is structured and scaled across the Jewish world.
A more connected Jewish world will not emerge by accident. It must be intentionally built by organizations willing to look beyond their own boundaries and invest in the success of the broader community. Through our Network Partners, Global Jewry is bringing together the institutions best positioned to make that vision a reality.
We invite these ecosystem builders to join us in creating a Jewish organizational landscape that is more connected, more cooperative, and more capable of meeting the opportunities and challenges of our time.
Combining the strengths of the Network Partners with the reach and influence of all of our organizational Partners, Advisory Council, Signature Programs and members of The Circle, Global Jewry will be stronger than ever.
