One of the bedrock principles on which we founded Global Jewry is its focus on the entirety of the Jewish world. We are committed to the vision of building strong connections between and among all Jews regardless of the location of the communities in which they live.
To that end, I will be heading to Amsterdam today. My plans include expressing my appreciation to several existing advisory board members from the region, identifying potential recruits for the board, and meeting with representatives of a variety of organizations who share our concern about the future of European Jewry. I will also meet with members of a few local communities to better understand the challenges they face in their countries.
Please let me know ASAP if you know someone from the area with whom you think I should be in touch.
While I am away, our team will be working hard on a variety of projects we hope to have fully in place by June 26th, the one-year anniversary of Global Jewry. One of them is a marketing kit we plan to distribute to our advisory board and partners within the next few weeks, a tool we hope will make it easy for you to help us dramatically expand our reach. Ours is a great story, especially given all the darkness surrounding the Jewish people for months. We have come a long way in a short time and are poised to do important work together in the months and years ahead.
We will also be adding some exciting features to our website in the days ahead, including an interactive map showing all the cities represented on our advisory board, an updated search feature using the latest technology and an enhanced resource hub to facilitate the easy exchange of ideas and information within our collective.
In addition to these upcoming enhancements, we’re expanding our website to include links to Jewish podcasts and are exploring ways to host our emerging “communities of practice” most effectively.” Amidst all these developments, we remain steadfast in our commitment to supporting those facing challenges in Israel, on campuses, and beyond.
We approach every day with one foot planted in the present and the other stretching out to the future.
As always, thank you for being part of Global Jewry. Your friendship and support are never taken for granted.
Shabbat shalom and may this be the week the remaining hostages return home safely,
