Rabbi Pini Dunner is the senior rabbi at Beverly Hills Synagogue, one of the most prominent Orthodox synagogues in the United States. Originally from London, England, he comes from a long line of prestigious rabbis. Following his yeshiva studies in England, the United States and Israel, Rabbi Dunner majored in Jewish History at University College London, and received his semicha from Beth Medrash Govoha in Lakewood, NJ. During the early 1990s Rabbi Dunner served as the assistant rabbi at Moscow Choral Synagogue. In 1998, Rabbi Dunner set up and led the trailblazing Saatchi Synagogue in London’s West End.
Rabbi Dunner is also an acknowledged expert on antiquarian Hebrew books and manuscripts, and is frequently consulted by libraries, academics, dealers, and private collectors. His online lectures, featuring illustrative material from his vast and unique private library of Judaica books and manuscripts, has a dedicated audience of viewers. He has also authored several bestselling books, and lectured extensively to sellout audiences across the United States, in Israel and in the UK.
