Alex is the founder and CEO of One Million Lobby, the first and only Israeli non-profit that promotes a better social, economic, state-religious and cultural reality for the 1.2 million Israelis from the former Soviet Union (FSU). She also founded the Cultural Brigade, created a TV series about the 90’s immigration from the FSU through the eyes of the children, and has led a number of national projects committed to helping Israelis from the FSU feel at home in Israel.
Alex was recognized by ‘The Marker’ as one of the 40 under 40 promising young Israelis (2021) and received a special mention in the Yossi Harel award (2022). Her poetry book, ‘Silly Girl of the Regime’- 50 poems about her aliya experience, won the Matanel Award for Young Promising Jewish Poet and the Minister of Culture Award (2018).
Alex holds an MA in Public Policy (Civil Service Cadet Program) and a BA in Political Science & Business, both from The Hebrew University of Jerusalem.
Alex lives in Tel Aviv with her family.
