Mariano is the Executive Director of the European Council of Jewish Communities, a cross denominational platform bringing together over 70 European Jewish organisations from all walks of life. He develops and executes programs in the fields of Jewish Education, Social Welfare and well-being, Community development, Youth & Young Adults and brings with him over 25 years of experience.
Originally from Argentina, where he grew up in the JCC, Conservative and Liberal Movements. After finishing studies for Stage Design for Opera, Mariano graduated from the Senior Educators Program from the Melton Centre for Jewish Education for the Diaspora, HU of Jerusalem. Also an Alumni of the Institute of Experiential Jewish Education in its Senior Educators Cohort 4, Mariano is fluent in English, French, Spanish, Hebrew & Italian.
He lives outside Bologna in the middle of the Apennines, but you can find him more often in different European cities visiting the different Jewish Organizations and communities.
