Jill Weber Smith is a graduate of Mount Holyoke College and received an MBA from The Wharton School. After a 10-year career on Wall Street, she worked as the inaugural director for the Innocence Project, which is a litigation organization dedicated to exonerating wrongfully convicted people through DNA testing. She received her JD in 2002 and practiced criminal law.
Jill is Vice Chair of Moishe House President’s Council and serves on the board of the UJA-Federation of NY. In addition, she is a past president of the Jewish Foundation for Education of Women (JFEW) and an emeritus board member. She is the immediate past board chair of Hunter College Hillel.
For over 11 years, Jill served as the Senior Advisor to the Chairman of the Genesis Prize Foundation. She remains a member of the Genesis Prize Committee.
