Erica Lyons is a community leader and author.
She is the Founder and Director of PJ Library Hong Kong and the Chair of the Hong Kong Jewish Historical Society.
She has been a part of global Jewish initiatives such as the Our Common Destiny Forum and the Shusterman Foundation’s ROI Summit. She serves as the Hong Kong representative to World Jewish Congress.
Erica was a Founding Board Member of ZAKA Hong Kong/ China and served for man years on the Management Council of Hong Kong’s Ohel Leah Synagogue. She currently is on board of the Jewish Funders Network and on the international board of Tzohar.
Erica was the Founder and Editor-in-Chief of Asian Jewish Life, a culture magazine that connected the pockets of Jewish life in the Far East. Following that, she recently shifted gears and moved into the world of Jewish children’s books with her first book winning a National Jewish Book Awards Honor and her second a Sydney Taylor Notable honor.
Erica lives with her family in Hong Kong. Her two oldest children have made Aliyah.
