Eli Ovits is founder of Altruists, a global network that connects people with meaningful causes. Since Altruists’ inception, Ovits has worked on all continents helping raise awareness, build boards, design programs, represent philanthropists, and secure major support.
Ovits’ previous roles include Chief Executive of Limmud (active in 44 countries), Executive VP of Jerusalem U, Director of Communications for TIP, and Overseas Joint Ventures for JDC. He has served as an IDF international spokesperson and specializes in strategic communications.
Eli serves as Ambassador for the multinational Abrahamic Business Circle (based in the UAE), and as President of the US institute Inside the Middle East. He is an advisor to World Class Scholars (an NGO that connects schools across the world), Chair of Limmud Israel, and sits on the advisory boards of the Alliance of Rabbis in Islamic States and Israel 2048.
Ovits holds a Masters in International Relations from Hebrew University and a Bachelors in Development Studies from the University of Leeds. He has been published widely on creating community.
