Daniela Finkel, originally from Quito, Ecuador, is a Jewish community professional with extensive experience in community engagement, leadership, fundraising, education, and human development across Latin America. She currently lives in Guatemala City and serves as the Spanish-Language Fellow at Global Jewry, where she focuses on strengthening connections among Jewish communities throughout the Spanish-speaking world.

Daniela has been actively involved in Jewish communal life for many years. She previously served as Community Director of the Jewish Community of Guatemala and worked for a decade with Keren Hayesod, building relationships with Jewish leaders and communities across the region. She has also been involved with CADENA, contributing to psychosocial and humanitarian initiatives, and with Momentum, supporting programs that strengthen Jewish identity, leadership, and community engagement.

Born and raised in the Jewish community of Quito, Daniela later made Aliyah and lived in Israel before moving to Guatemala. Her personal and professional journey across Ecuador, Israel, and Guatemala has given her a unique perspective on the diversity, challenges, and opportunities of Jewish communities in Latin America, particularly smaller and emerging communities.

Alongside her communal work, Daniela has a professional background in psychology, coaching, education, and organizational development. She has worked with individuals, families, nonprofit organizations, and companies, developing programs and workshops focused on leadership, communication, emotional intelligence, and personal development.

Daniela holds a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Reichman University in Israel and a Master’s degree in Clinical Neuropsychology from Instituto ITEAP in Spain. She is also certified in Life Coaching and Conscious Parenting Coaching. She is fluent in Spanish and English and speaks Hebrew.
