A dedicated Jewish leader and advocate, Dr. Andrei Iosef Schwartz has over two decades of experience in global Jewish diplomacy, community leadership, and strategic advocacy. As a co-founder and, later, Steering Committee member of the WJC Jewish Diplomatic Corps, he has led efforts against antisemitism, defended Israel’s legitimacy, and represented WJC at the UN, OSCE, and global forums. He chairs the Anti-BDS Task Force and spearheads advocacy for hostages held in Gaza. Beyond WJC, Andrei co-founded the Romanian Zionist Association (the first one after the Shoah and the Communist period), served on the Board of the Federation of Jewish Communities of Romania and of KolDor and has worked extensively to strengthen Jewish communities and the State of Israel. Andrei has also spent over two decades in the corporate world, establishing himself as a leading authority in globalization and supporting international business expansion.
